Activities to Do in Colorado for the Fourth of July
This Tuesday is Fourth of July, which marks the day that the Declaration of Independence was approved, thus making the United States of America independent of British rule. Also known as Independence Day, the federal holiday is a day where the country celebrates in different ways. From parades to parties, the celebrations are endless – especially in Colorado!

Fort Lupton Fourth of July Celebration
Challenger Homes will be a sponsor of the Fort Lupton Independence Day Celebration and we encourage local residents to attend! Taking place Saturday, July 1st from 12pm to 4pm at the Community Center Park at The Fort Lupton Recreation Center, attendees can enjoy games and live music! A great event for adults and children, there will also be food trucks, shaved ice and fireworks at sundown.
Colorado Springs Fireworks
The Colorado Springs Philharmonic and Colorado Springs Sports Corporation presents the Star-Spangled Symphony & Fourth of July Fireworks! Taking place on the Fourth of July at the Pikes Peak Center in downtown Colorado, the event will feature a free community concert and sweet treats followed by a fireworks show. If you aren’t able to make it to the event, don’t worry! It will be broadcasted live on five partnering radio stations, so you can watch the show from home! While the event is free to the public, be sure to get there early as seating is first come first served.
Monument’s Fourth of July Parade
There’s no better way to celebrate the holiday within your local community than by attending a parade! If you live in Monument, Colorado bring your family and friends to a Fourth of July parade hosted by the Honor Bell Foundation. The parade begins at 9:30am on the Fourth of July and concludes at noon.
Colorado Rockies Celebrate the Fourth in Denver
Baseball team, Colorado Rockies will put on a fireworks and drone show at Coors Field following their game against the Detroit Tigers on Saturday, July 1st. An annual tradition, you will need a ticket to the baseball game for the best view.
If baseball isn’t your thing, don’t worry – there’s still more to do in the Denver area. The Civic Center Conservancy will host Independence Eve, a free concert and fireworks show on July 3rd beginning at 5pm and concluding at 10pm. In addition to the entertainment, there will also be food trucks and a synchronized light show.
Brighton’s Fourth of July Celebration
Carmichael Park will host its annual Fourth of July festival on Tuesday, July 4th at 5pm. The event will feature music, live performances and food trucks. Once the main event has concluded, attendees can then enjoy the area’s largest fireworks display.
Visit Challenger Homes at the 4th of July Street Fair
On the Fourth of July, Challenger Homes will be a vendor at the 4th of July Street Fair! Every year, over 10,000 residents attend the fair to enjoy festival foods, crafts and arts merchants, a parade and a fun run! This family friendly event is sure to be a fun filled day for everyone. Be sure to get there early as the event begins at 7am with a large variety of vendors (including Challenger!) appearing on Second and Washington Streets.
