Our holiday food drive continues: participate now!
In an effort to make life better for our greater communities, we’re hosting a holiday food drive! From now until December 15th, we invite you to donate the most-needed items to help those in need. Furthermore, those who donate will have a chance to win a gift card to the Honey Baked Ham Store!
Items to Donate
We will happily accept any non-perishable food items. However, there are a few items that are requested the most:
- Canned fruit and vegetables
- Soup
- Canned meat and tuna
- Peanut butter
- Cereal
- Oatmeal
- Pre-packaged snacks
Where to donate and how to win
It’s easy to participate! Simply drop off your food items at any Challenger Homes model home in Colorado Springs. For example, you could swing by Revel at Wolf Ranch, which is conveniently located at the northeastern section of Colorado Springs off Research Parkway and the Powers corridor. In addition, you could visit The Townes at Lorson Ranch which offers easy access to I-25. Plus, for every eight items you donate, you’ll be entered to win a gift card from the Honey Baked Ham Store.
Care and Share Food Bank
As a food bank, Care and Share works to gather and sort food from multiple sources, distributing to their network of 282 partners in 31 counties across Southern Colorado. They make sure nutritious food gets in the hands of everyone who needs it—wherever they are.
